Logistics and trade consulting
Sometimes the problem is not the shipment. It is that the Incoterm gives away control, the routing was chosen by habit, the HS code has been wrong for two years, or nobody has ever calculated the actual landed cost.

Where we are usually brought in
Incoterms and contract terms
Which of the eleven terms fits your deal, who carries which risk, where title passes and what your current contract actually obliges you to do.
Route and mode design
Comparing sea, air, road, sea–air and hub structures on total cost and total time, not on freight rate alone.
Landed cost modelling
Every component to the destination door: freight, handling, duty, VAT, financing, insurance, demurrage risk and inland delivery.
Compliance and sanctions
Screening counterparties, goods and routes; dual-use and export control questions; documentation that survives scrutiny.
Documentation design
Building a document set that clears customs at both ends and satisfies a letter of credit without amendments.
UAE market entry
Whether you need a free zone entity, a mainland company or nothing at all to run your trade through Dubai.
The Incoterm question
More money is lost to the wrong Incoterm than to bad freight rates. Buying EXW from a supplier who then hands you cargo at a factory gate in a country where you have no agent is a very different transaction from buying FOB at a named port. Selling DDP into a market whose duty regime you have not modelled can turn a margin into a loss on a single shipment.
The term also decides who controls the shipment. Whoever books the main carriage chooses the carrier, sees the tracking, holds the bill of lading and can act when something goes wrong. Giving that away to save a small amount on freight is usually a bad trade.
We review the terms you are trading on now, say plainly what each one costs and controls, and propose what to change at the next renewal.
Consulting FAQ
Do you consult without carrying our freight?
Yes. Advisory is a standalone service. In some cases the honest recommendation is to stay with your current forwarder and change something else.
How is it charged?
A fixed fee for a defined piece of work, or an hourly rate for ongoing advice. Agreed before we start.
Can you review our existing contracts and rates?
Yes — supplier contracts, forwarder agreements and rate sheets. A benchmark against current market levels is usually the fastest return.
Do you advise on setting up in a UAE free zone?
We advise on the logistics and trade consequences of each option. For the incorporation itself we refer you to licensed corporate service providers.
Can you help after something has already gone wrong?
Yes: cargo held at customs, a disputed bill of lading, demurrage escalating, a counterparty refusing delivery. Call early — most of these get more expensive by the day.
