Road is the quiet workhorse of Gulf logistics. Within the UAE it is same-day. To Saudi Arabia, Oman or Qatar it beats sea freight on both time and cost, with no transhipment and a single vehicle from door to door.

Border clearance time varies with season, documentation quality and the commodity. Correct paperwork is the single biggest factor in whether a truck waits hours or days.
Cross-border paperwork
Trucks do not get stuck at GCC borders because of the road. They get stuck because of documents. Each crossing wants a consistent set: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, the UAE export declaration, the manifest and — depending on the commodity — conformity certificates, SFDA or SASO approvals for Saudi Arabia, or health certificates for food.
We prepare and pre-check the full set before the vehicle loads, attest what needs attesting and stay in contact with the driver through the crossing. If something is queried, it is resolved by someone who can read the file rather than by a driver with a phone.
Road freight FAQ
Can you deliver door to door inside the UAE same day?
Yes, for most routes if the booking is in before midday. Jebel Ali to Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi is routine.
Do you move containers from the port to a free zone warehouse?
Yes. Inland container haulage between Jebel Ali, Port Rashid, the airports and any UAE warehouse is part of our standard service.
Can you handle out-of-gauge loads by road?
Yes, with lowbed or modular trailers, route survey, police permits and escort where required.
Is road cheaper than sea to Saudi Arabia?
Almost always, once you count port charges, inland haulage at both ends and the time cost. Road from Dubai to Riyadh is two to three days; sea plus trucking is rarely under two weeks.
Do you offer road to Europe or Central Asia?
Direct road to Europe from the UAE is impractical. For Central Asia and the CIS we usually combine sea or air to a regional hub with road for the final leg — see UAE to CIS.
