What an inspection covers
Quantity verification
Physical count of cartons, units and pallets against the packing list and purchase order. Short shipments are found here, not at destination.
Quality and specification
Against your spec, drawings or approved sample: dimensions, materials, finish, function testing on a sampling basis.
Packaging and marking
Export-grade packaging, labelling, shipping marks, barcodes and destination-market compliance stickers.
Documentation check
Do the invoice, packing list and certificates describe what is actually in the boxes? A surprising number do not.
Loading supervision
We attend the stuffing: container condition, loading sequence, securing, and the seal number recorded on video.
Report with evidence
A written report with timestamped photos and video, delivered the same day or the next — in time to stop a payment.
How it works
Brief
You send the purchase order, specification or approved sample, the supplier's address and a contact.
Scheduling
We coordinate access with the supplier. For a pre-shipment inspection this should be when production is 80–100% complete and packed.
On-site inspection
Our inspector attends, counts, checks, tests on a sampling basis and photographs everything.
Report
You get a pass, conditional pass or fail with the evidence behind it — fast enough to act on before the money moves.
Decision
Accept, demand rework, renegotiate, or walk away. If you accept, we can load and ship in the same visit.
When to use it
The classic case is a first order from a new supplier, especially one found online, where the payment terms put your money at risk before the goods exist. It is also worth doing on a repeat supplier whose quality has drifted, on any order large enough that a 2% defect rate matters, and on anything being bought through an intermediary you have never met.
The economics are simple. An inspection costs a fraction of a percent of a typical order. A container of the wrong goods costs the order value plus the freight plus the time plus a dispute you will probably lose from four thousand kilometres away.
Inspection FAQ
Can you inspect goods at a supplier we found ourselves?
Yes — anywhere in the UAE, and through partners in China, India, Turkey and Europe.
How fast can you attend?
Usually within 1–3 working days inside the UAE, subject to the supplier granting access. A supplier who resists an inspection visit has told you something important.
What if the goods fail?
You get the evidence, in writing, with photographs. That is what gives you leverage to demand rework or a discount — or to stop the payment entirely.
Do you test products in a laboratory?
Functional and visual checks are done on site. Laboratory testing is arranged through accredited partners when the specification requires it.
Can you also check the supplier company itself?
Yes. Physical inspection plus company and financial verification is the combination that actually protects a first-time deal.
